Outfit of the Day | The Target Coma

Sweater: Target - buy it in every color!! | Pants: Target {same in different colors} | Heels: Sam Edelman 'Portney' {similar} | Scarf: Target | Watch: Fossil | Ring: F21 {similar} | Earrings: F21 {similar}

Guys are you sitting down? I have a Target problem. #thankyoucaptainobvi

I can't remember exactly, because I'm pretty sure I black out the second I walk in the door, but I think on this particular trip I went in for shaving cream and came out with this scarf, three bra & panty sets (because Gilligan & O'Malley, ohhh emmm geee), a day planner, and obviously no shaving cream. And somehow, even though I went in intending to spend $3.50 and GTFO, I spend $100 and I'm impressed with myself that it's not more.

Oh, and that vest I can't stop wearing? Went in intending to buy this lamp, left with two lamps, the vest, and a new set of makeup brushes. Psychology majors, there has to be some sort of word for this. Don't worry, I'm not expecting it to be flattering.

Anyone else getting (routinely) bit by the Target amnesia bug? Oh, all of you? Cool.

  1. Yeah I'm gonna need to buy that vest. Holy moly, I'm in love. <3

    And I usually am pretty good about avoiding Target because I know the trouble that ensues when I walk in. It wasn't too hard, seeing how the only Targets I've been near in the last year are a pain in the butt to try to get to (in super busy areas), but now I work right up the road from one, and lunch breaks can get pretty boring without having somewhere to go, so... yeah, I've come home with more bottles of nail polish and useless things like waffle makers in the last couple of months. Whoopsies.

  2. I have to really be focused and not let myself walk to the clothes/shoes section of the store. It's the best place for me to buy groceries, so I just have to park by the grocery door and not wander to the other side! But now I'm feeling peer pressured, so it's not my fault, right? That's how peer pressure works.

    1. literally the ONLY time I haven't overspent at Target is the ONE TIME I went straight to the pharmacy and straight back out the door.

  3. You are a mess...and I am a mess...we are one big Target mess! I hear you loud and clear, that's why I haven't gone in there in two weeks...I have zero control and lose all ability to focus on necessities.

  5. We could start at Target Shopaholics Anonymous...but I have a feeling that might promote more shopping instead of less because we would want what everyone else bought. OOO, Target!
