30 for 30 | 3: Plaid & Leopard (again)

Blazer: H&M | Shirt: J.Crew via eBay | Jeans: Simply Vera | Flats: Steve Madden Vegass | Necklace: F21 | Rhinestone bracelet: F21 | Silver bracelet: Chaps

The blazer tried hard, but it didn't last long once I opened this apron from my grandma. I haven't come within ten feet of a kitchen (at least not with the intention of cooking anything) but I can't seem to take it off. I feel so Mad Men! Plus there's that whole thing where my clothes won't look like a drunk toddler's been wearing them by the time I finish making dinner. That's a bonus.

I have a thing for plaid and leopard together: Exhibit A and Exhibit B. But I'm kind of a slut when it comes to leopard so you probably shouldn't take my word that it's the cool thing to do.

    1. I felt pretty festive! But that may have had something to do with the apron... or the presents... ;)

  5. Found you on Franish today! :) I love all things leopard. I wish it was truly acceptable to wear it EVERY DAY! However I try to practice self-control and wear it "underneath" my clothes as often as possible. LOL TMI...sorry! I am doing 30 in 30 as well this month! Trying to get all my thing posted today :)

    1. Giiiirrrllll if you had to be a grown up to wear blazers I'd be seven different kinds of effed! I have at least two that are made out of straight up pajama-jersey material. I'm not fooling anyone :)

    1. I like the idea of a 15x15! Even 30x30 feels so overwhelming sometime... sometimes I can't imagine having to work with my whole closet again!

  12. So cute! I always feel stuck thinking my leopard print shoes should be the star of the outfit and I wind up keeping everything else neutral. But I love this look of mixing with plaid!
