30 for 30 | 1: Boucle & Winter White

Jacket: F21 | Turtleneck: Target | Dress: Lush via Nordie's | Tights: Simply Vera | Boots: Unlisted via TJ Maxx | Earrings: F21 | Ring: F21 | Lips: Revlon Super Lustrous 'Va-Va-Violet'

Girl you ready?
It's 30 for 30 time.

I hope you guys will cut me a little slack just this once - I didn't actually wear this outfit. I fully planned to, but you know that whole "we plan, God laughs" thing? That happened. It happened like a ton of bricks. So instead of a big night out for New Year's Eve, I ended up watching movies and NYE specials in my pj's with my mom (dad hasn't seen midnight since one random night junior year when he hung out with my guy friends til 1am) and an entire box of Girl Scout cookies and a frozen pizza. I'm not going to sit here and say it wasn't great, because it was, but it was not a dress and tights and lipstick occasion. Later this week I'll go out and get hamsies with my girls, so it'll get worn. Don't you worry.

Here's a refresher on my thirty items - I totally forgot to tell you guys, I WON SOMETHING!! You can't imagine my tazer-level of shock when Lynzy at Sparkling Footsteps tweeted that I won a pair of shoes from ShoeMint. Like falling out of my chair type of thing. So cool. I picked the Candy boots because I saw them on Aimee at Song of Style and fell waaaay hard. Can't wait for them to get here!

Be sure to check out these lovely ladies on their 30 For 30 journey this month! I'll leave their links up in the sidebar so you can follow along whenever you like, and every Sunday we'll be linking up to share our favorite outfits of the week. I hope you'll go visit!

  6. Thanks for posting a list of all of the participants - can't wait to check everyone's remixes out! I am really looking forward to seeing how you style up those leopard pants. I've been wanting a pair for so long, but feel like I'd be stumped about how to wear them.

    1. No problem lady! Linking up with everyone is part of the fun! The leopard pants are proving to be tricky shoe-wise but it's overcome-able :)

  8. You are so impressing me with these back to back 30X30 challenges - and looks like you have a great crew joining you too! Wish I could add my name to the list, as I am a lover of the 30X30, but I am letting myself go a little nuts with the closet rejuvenation this month... so I will be living vicariously through you instead! You better keep me inspired lady - no pressure!

  10. Hi Sam. I am Ada. I found you through Jess's Page. I love that you girls are doing the 30 for 30 together. I was just going to say this look would have been lovely for NY Eve, but pajamas while cuddling at home is a good idea for a relaxed NY Eve also. Anyway, both you & Jess did a great job with your first looks for the 30 for 30.

I hope you stop by my blog & follow me. I'd love that. I support you 100%.

Have a Great Weekend, Ada. =)
